Sources & method
Every program on this site comes from an official source: a city or county website, a sanitary district or water utility, or the city's published municipal code (Municode, American Legal, eCode360 and similar). We started from the US EPA list of POTWs with pretreatment programs and city/utility FOG pages.
Rule text shown in quotes is copied from the linked source; programs marked Hand-checked against source were reviewed by a person. Each page shows the date the source was last checked. We re-check sources on a schedule and flag pages that changed.
Blank fields mean the source we checked did not state that rule. We never fill gaps with guesses.
Rules change; verify with your city. This site is not legal or engineering advice.
Affiliate & listing disclosure
We may earn money from labeled sponsored listings, sponsors and affiliate links (marked rel="sponsored"). That never changes the rule text, which always comes from the official source.
